Business system reviews
Independent testing of the controls inside the systems you already run.
Likelihood unlikely · Impact moderate
What this is
We test the controls built into your business systems and report whether they are designed properly and working the way you think they are. Where they are not, we say so, and we tell you what it costs to fix.
When you need it
- Your auditors keep raising the same system finding and nobody has closed it.
- A system went live under time pressure and the controls were signed off on trust.
- Manual reconciliations have quietly become the control, and they are expensive.
- You are integrating two systems after an acquisition and nobody owns the joins.
What we do
- 01 Review the controls implemented in the business system and test whether they operate as designed.
- 02 Provide assurance that control design matches the risk the control is meant to answer.
- 03 Develop control procedures that cost less to operate and reduce the cost of correcting errors.
- 04 Reduce the risk of value lost through control failure.
- 05 Build the disciplines that let an integrated system deliver its intended benefit.
What it looks like
What you get
- Control matrix
- Every control, its owner, its test result and its residual risk.
- Exceptions register
- What failed, what it exposes, and what it costs to leave open.
- Remediation roadmap
- Sequenced fixes with effort and owner against each.
- Audit committee summary
- Two pages the board can act on without a translator.
